Socially-Creative, owned and operated by Susan Carruthers, is the sole data controller responsible for your personal data in relation to The Scottish Marketing Summit and any related activities. There are no other parties involved in organising or delivering this event.

Your data is collected and processed for the following reasons:

To organise and manage The Scottish Marketing Summit

To communicate essential event information with you (reminders, updates, resources, feedback requests, etc.)

To send you event recordings or follow-up materials after the event

To manage dietary requirements for in-person events, if applicable

To promote the event and future events via photography or video

To share relevant future opportunities from Socially-Creative

Name, email address, business name, job title, and other details you provide when registering.

For virtual events: Your email address will be used to provide you with secure access. If the event is recorded, your name, audio, and video may appear in the final version. If you prefer not to be recorded, please keep your camera and microphone off during the session.

For in-person events: You may be asked about dietary requirements. Sharing this is optional. If you provide allergy or dietary information, it may be considered health data and will be processed only with your explicit consent.

Marketing emails: I may send you updates about future events and services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing me directly.

Photography and video: Photos and video content may be captured at the event and shared on Socially-Creative’s website or social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok). If you don’t want your image used, please let me know before or during the event, or email me afterwards. I will do my best to accommodate your preferences.

I keep your personal data only as long as necessary, including:
